Japanese Fans Come Together To Create 'Lee Min Ho Street' In Tokyo

Korean actor Lee Min Ho's face has taken over the streets of Tokyo in a very literal sense.

The members of Lee's fan club in Japan worked together to create a 1km street filled with posters, videos and billboards filled with the "Gangnam Blues" actor's face in order to celebrate the 8th anniversary since his debut.

The actor's fan club called "Minoz Japan (Kizuna)" also hung up flags throughout the street that read, "Lee Min Ho. The 8th anniversary of a debut. Congratulations," and "Min Ho sshi, we will continue to support you. Gain strength ~."

Lee Min Ho responded to the constant love he's been receiving from fans all around the world, according to Allkpop.

"As my years of experience as an actor stack up, I feel more of an earnest gratitude for my fans. . .  I will do my best to be an actor who communicates [with fans] through productions and more to return the fans' [love]," stated the 26-year-old actor.

Fans from various other countries have congratulated Lee and showed support for Lee's 8th anniversary in different, creative ways.

A Lee Min Ho bus, which featured the actor on a huge bus that was plastered across the vehicle, was created last month in Taiwan.

Lee Min Ho's mini drama series titled "ONE LINE LOVE" is getting incredibly positive reactions in China, according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

The series consists of 3 episodes, which were released through a Chinese VOD website last week.

Although each episode is only about 15 minutes long, Chinese audiences have made sure to show their support for Lee within the four days since it was released, according to StarN.

"This series got over 20 million views even though it is not an official drama series. This clearly shows Lee Min Ho's power. This is way beyond any other official dramas that are being broadcasted on TV, and we will present a great number of other services for promotion," stated a representative.
