Hold up, what? The 41-year-old 'Modern Family' actress Sofia Vergara just announced a break up with her 38-year-old fiance, Nick Loeb. This news comes two months short of their second year anniversary. Nick Loeb proposed to Sofia Vergara on her birthday in 2012, but since then their relationship has tanked, leading to their break up. Could it be that he's putting his passions for Onion Crunch before his relationship with Sofia Vergara? The Onion Crunch King may be confusing his priorities.  

Sofia Vergara, who has been working with Reese Witherspoon on an upcoming movie called 'Don't Mess With Texas', posted a note about her break up on WhoSay. These are her exact words:  

"Nick and I Have Decided to Be Apart.Not that anyone should care,but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtfull drama,I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have desided to be apart.We have being having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and becouse of my work and now his,its been getting worse and worse,not fun anymore.We are still very close but we belive is the best thing for us right now."

It looks like she was too heart broken and in too much of a hurry to re-read her statement for grammatical errors. She cited her "work and now his" as a primary reason for breaking up. As the hilarious star of 'Modern Family', she has been busy for a while, but what has been keeping a financial scion rich-boy Nick Loeb busy?

Turns out, an odd side project called Onion Crunch. For the past few years, he has been pushing for this crispy fried onion condiment called that he swears is a "fresh and crispy topping" for, well, any kind of food.

"When [Sofia] found out it was in my pocket, she made me put it back in the car," he recalls. "But I snuck a couple of these little packets that I ended up handing to the executive chef at the White House."

Looks like he's a little too obsessed over his childish venture. The product has yet to take off. We wonder why.

And then there are more serious accusations of Nick Loeb being a cheating "sex addict". The National Enquirer reported that he takes part in drug-fueled orgies with prostitutes. Sofia Vergaras had many crazy boyfriends in the past, but she really may have dodged a bullet here by breaking off the engagement.

The Colombian beauty is reported to be in New Orleans now, basking in the sun with her friends and family over the Memorial Day weekend. There's nothing like family support to get through a rough patch!
