Rafael Nadal Girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello Supportive Of His Comeback? French Open 2014 Snubs Spaniard On The Court

Despite Rafael Nadal's rocky road to the French Open 2014, his girlfriend, Maria Francisca Perello is stil rooting for her champion. Rafael Nadal lost in Monte Carlo and Barcelona, as well as to Serbian Novak Djokovic at the Italian Open. On top of that, the French aren't too fond of Rafael Nadal either. The eight-time French Open Men's Singles winner was snubbed in the first rounds of Roland Garros this year. His starting match was relegated to the sub-par Court Suzanne Lenglen instead of being scheduled to Philippe Chatrier, the center stage at French Open. But despite this court snub, Rafael Nadal, with the support of his hometown girlfriend, Maria Francisca Perello, was able to barrel through his first match. He is ready for his comeback!

Rafael Nadal and his long-time girlfriend, Maria Francisca Perello were seen earlier this month in Cancun, Mexico, enjoying Nadal's rare stolen time from tennis on the beach. They were seen kayaking, deep-sea diving and sunbathing on the Mexican shoreline. He was too distracted by his hot girlfriend to play well at Monte Carlo and Barcelona and his little stumble was reflected in his court assignment. The eight-time French Open winner was relegated to the second-choice Court Lenglen. What a disgrace!

On the other hand, Novak Djokovic, who has never won the French Open and is the second seed behind Nadal, was scheduled to have his first match on Court Philippe Chatrier. On top of that, according to Sports Illustrated, his face is dominating the billboard and other ad spaces in Paris.

But as we know, Nadal's girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello isn't too keen of the spotlight and the fame. With her support, the tennis superstar put his head down and defeated Robby Ginepri with 6-0, 6-3, 6-0. Nadal sure has made a comeback at the French Open's first game. Just in time to defend his long-reigning title!

Read Nadal's modest comment on being pushed aside to Court Lenglen:

"Always playing Roland Garros is a pleasure for me, is really an honor and is a special feeling. And doesn't matter if it's Chatrier or Lenglen or another court, [being] around here in Roland Garros is always going to be great. And I started in Lenglen this year, [it's] a great court."

Looks like the Spaniard has taken a tip from his girlfriend Maria Francisca off court! The brunette bombshell will be cheering for him from the first-class stands, as she always does at the French Open.
