It has only been 8 days since T-ARA member Jiyeon made her solo debut with her mini-album "Never Ever."

Despite the fact that it's only been approximately a week since Jiyeon released her solo album, the music video for her song "Never Ever" has already begun gaining a lot of attention in China.

The singer released the music video on Core Content Media's official YouTube channel on May 28.

The video ranked No. 1 on China's Yin Yue Tai MV Chart for 2 weeks in a row. "Never Ever" features a dramatic concept that accentuates Jiyeon's both feminine and sophisticated image, which explains why the music video is doing so well.

Jiyeon worked with producer Duble Sidekick for her solo album, which noticeably features a more mature side to the idol member.

The member of T-ARA performed on Mnet's "M Countdown" for her very first solo debut performance on May 22. She released a photo taken with her staff after her successful performance.

Jiyeon captioned the picture with her dance team and staff members with an expression of gratitude towards them for all of their hard work in making her solo debut actually happen.

The 20-year-old star made another successful solo performance on "Music Central" on May 24, performing her title track "Never Ever," according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

Although this was only her second performance since debuting as a solo artist, Jiyeon didn't show signs of being nervous and showcased her "irresistible sexiness" through her choreography, according to Star N News.

Jiyeon recently posed for "International bnt" to promote her solo debut as well, according to Allkpop.
