Big Bang Taeyang To Release Japan Solo Debut Album This August And Hold First Japan Tour

Big Bang member Taeyang will be releasing his solo debut album in Japan and also hold his first Japan solo tour this summer.

YG Entertainment released a statement on May 30 that Taeyang will be releasing his first solo debut album in Japan on August 13. His "SOLO JAPAN TOUR 2014" concert will begin on August 12.

Taeyang will be visiting various cities in Japan throughout the month of August and is expected to make a comeback in Korea. This will be his first comeback in South Korea in 7 months since the release of "RINGA LINGA."

His new album, titled "RISE," will feature an upgraded image of Taeyang. Yang Hyun Suk commented that all 9 songs on the upcoming album are so good that they could all be made into singles, which has triggered the interests of fans even more.

The title track for "Rise" will be "Eyes, Nose, Mouth," which was composed by Taeyang, DEE.P and Rebecca Johnson. The lyrics were written by Taeyang and Teddy, according to Yahoo Celebrity Philippines.

"The reason why 'Eyes, Nose, Mouth' became the title song is because when Taeyang sang the first verse in the recording studio, it was a very powerful song that made me feel that all the plans that we've made in the past several years just collapsed," stated Yang.

The album features several noteworthy names, including Tablo, Choice 37, Teddy, G-Dragon, PK, The Filptones and more.

Taeyang will be making music videos for "Eyes, Nose, Mouth," "1AM" and "Beautiful."

The title track will be released on June 2 while "1AM" is set for June 10, and "Beautiful" sometime in mid-June.

The released track list for "Rise" includes "Intro (Rise)," "Eyes, Nose Mouth," "1AM," "Stay With Me," "Body, "Ringa Linga," "This Isn't It (Translated)," "Thrown Away (Translated)" and "Love You To Death."

"Rise" will be released in Korea on June 10.
