Pippa Middleton and her 18-month boyfriend Nico Jackson have been spotted house hunting - more like mansion hunting - in London's super glitzy Battersea Park. The only reason they would be looking for a big house is to fill it with babies. Could it be that they are finally ready to get engaged?

Pippa Middleton and her 35-year-old stockbroker boyfriend, Nico Jackson has viewed several mansions ranging from £2 million to £3 million. The Battersea Park area also boasts housing other famous Brits like Bob Geldorf and Christine Hamilton. They haven't made any purchases, but it looks like the pair is determined to settle down and start having babies.

This comes at a good time for Pippa Middleton, who has recently been failing at her writing career. Reportedly, the British socialite didn't have enough ideas and wordsmith quality to keep her new career afloat. She lost her job as "Sports and Social" columnist with Daily Telegraph just after six short months. A source told Daily Mail that "the readers just weren't into it." Another said, "there was a lot of negative mail coming in after each column and there were too many off-limit subjects for her. They ran out of ideas."

Her book about party planning tanked as well. "Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends" only sold 18,000 copies and critic largely hated the party manual.

Good thing that Pippa Middleton's boyfriend is much more successful than she is. He is a self-made millionaire, who works at the Deutsche Bank. After meeting her on the slopes of Switzerland while skiing, he has been lavishing her with trips to India where they stayed at a five-star resort with views of the Taj Mahal.

An insider told Glamour Magazine in April, that Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson would announce their engagement when Prince William and Kate Middleton returns from their three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand.

"Pippa and Nico have definitely talked about marriage. I can almost guarantee we'll see a ring on her finger," said the royal expert Anne Chertoff.

Let's hope that she isn't as picky about million-pound mansions as she is about her column subject matter. Otherwise she would have to keep sharing the sub-par £1 million flat with her brother James Middleton.
