Lena Dunham Dog Lamby Bites Her Butt Days Before Her Appearance For ‘Not That Kind Of Girl’ At BookExpo

Lena Dunham, the famous creator of 'Girls', revealed on Twitter that her dog, Lamby has bitten her butt. And drew blood! This was days before her appearance at BookExpo to promote her new book, 'Not That Kind of Girl'. Hopefully it didn't pain her too much to sit alongside Alan Cumming, Martin Short and Colm Toibin at the author's breakfast early Saturday morning.

On a tweet that soon got deleted, Lena Dunham wrote, "My dog bit me on the ass and Jemima Kirke captured the image of a lifetime," below a picture of a bloodstained underwear that read "Hopeless Romantic".

Lena got Lamby from a dog shelter in Brooklyn and has been recording her dog's antics on her Twitter and Instagram. Turns out that the dog enjoys sitting up on her tables. Check out the pictures below:

The antics turned bloody when the dog decided to flash its teeth at its rescuer. Soon her Twitter followers began criticizing her dog-rearing techniques. Loyal to her dog, Lena Dunham defended her dog's behavior.

So also posted a picture of Lamby on Instagram and captioned it, "Now he's acting like he never nipped me on the behind."

Despite her trials and tribulations with the dog, her talk at the BookExpo on Saturday morning went very well. She read an excerpt from her book. She said, 'Not That Kind of Girl' is filled with "personal stories and cultural criticism, but my father pointed out to me that there is no cultural criticism except for saying that I'm not that into Mad Men." Quippy as ever, Lena!

She made all her co-guests laugh as well. In a picture she posted next to the poster of her book she wrote, "The actual book will be smaller, so as to fit in one's purse." See the Instagram picture here:

The book is currently on pre-sale for September 30, 2014.
