YG Entertainment's 'YG Exhibition In Japan' To Continue In Osaka This Summer

YG Entertainment's "3D Hologram" concert has been getting a lot of love in Japan.

YG Entertainment's "YG Exhibition in Japan" was held in Japan from February 22 to May 31 and has been gaining quite a bit of interest from fans, media and various companies.

Due to the overwhelming interest in the event, the agency decided to hold another "3D Hologram" concert in Osaka from June 14 until July 17.

The YG Exhibition is an event created by YG with the goal of showcasing the stage sets and performances of YG artists close up through holograms. Last month alone, around 1,000 fans appeared at the exhibition each day, showing its ongoing popularity.

When the exhibition ended, many fans from other cities and fans that were unable to attend the event requested for another exhibition, which YG gladly agreed to.

The hologram concert craze got huge when YG Entertainment revealed the first Big Bang hologram concert at the shopping center, Lotte Fitin, located in Dongdaemun History & Culture park on January 17, 2014.

KT Corporation teamed up with YG Entertainment and the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning to create the first ever hologram hall called Klive, where the concerts of Big Bang, 2NE1 and Psy will be showcased, according to MSN Entertainment XIN.

Klive has played Big Bang's "Fantastic Baby" and "Bad Boy," 2NE1's "I Am the Best" and "Fire," as well as Psy's "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman."

"The hologram footage is so high-quality that it'll be hard to tell whether it's real or fake," stated YG Entertainment.

The agency reportedly put importance in allowing the audience to feel as if they were at an actual concert event due to excellent sound, lighting and other special effects systems.

YG Entertainment had expressed their future plans to make the "3D Hologram" concerts even bigger within Korea as well.

"We plan on opening up Klive in Jejudo, Myungdong and other tourist areas," explained YG Entertainment.
