Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are more than just co-stars of "X-Men: Days of Future Past." Outside Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen may be everyone's favorite bromance couple.

"Both our differences and our similarities," said Patrick Stewart when asked the secret of their relationship. In addition, Stewart also said they are both "passionate about Shakespeare and being in the theater and we went to the [Royal Shakespeare Company] to learn our jobs... and we are mutant superheroes!"

"I love Patrick," said Ian McKellen in kind. "He's a lovable man. He's a sweet man. Not all people are. He's got this stern exterior...but he's just as frail as we all are, and I just want to give him a hug at times. I think that's the basis of it."
