Robin Thicke posted a photo on Instagram of himself performing using the caption "#GetHerBack" in what seems like an attempt to reconcile with his ex-wife Paula Patton following his cheating scandal and their divorce plans.

Television star Wendy Williams recently commented on Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's divorce following the "Blurred Lines" singer's cheating scandal and "Get Her Back" apology track.

"Robin Thicke tried to win his estranged wife, Paula Patton, back with his performance of 'Get Her Back' at the Billboard Music Awards...That's just desperate," she said, according to Life & Style.

"I wouldn't buy it and Paula shouldn't either. This whole public declaration only last 50 seconds before you have to have a real adult conversation."

Robin Thicke's "Get Her Back" track is moving up on several R&B charts, Singers Room reports.

Earlier this week Robin Thicke announced that he will be releasing a new album in July.

Paula Patton revealed during a recent interview with Vanity Fair magazine that there will always be a deep love between her and the "Blurred Lines" singer.

"We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there - always was, and always will be," she told the magazine.

"He wasn't my first kiss," Patton says, "but he was my first lots of other things."

Robin Thicke and ex-wife Paula Patton's decision to end their marriage after allegations of cheating may have been "the right thing" to do, the "Blurred Lines" singer's father Alan revealed during a recent interview.

"From my perspective, I always let Robin speak through his music," the former "Growing Pains" star told Us Weekly.

"We love them, they're great people. Whatever they decide to do, it will be the right thing."
