Fans might be disappointed to know that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev back together news won't be turning into a reality in the near future. Even if she isn't giving any confirmations, the 25-year-old actress' love life appears to be busy.

Dobrev has been linked to her 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Michael Trevino following the latter's break up with girlfriend Jenna Ushkowitz. The budding romance between Dobrev and Trevino has allegedly earned the ire of Somerhalder according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

Apart from Trevino, Dobrev is similarly linked to 'Hunger Games' actor Alexander Ludwig whom she is working with for the upcoming flick 'Final Girls.' Last Memorial's Day weekend, Ludwig, who's known for his role as Cato, posted an Instagram photo of him driving with Dobrev on the passenger seat.

As if such rumors are not enough to break the hearts of fans hoping for Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev back together news, another name has surfaced - Dominic Howard.

The Bulgarian beauty is allegedly going out with 36-year-old Howard, the drummer of English band Muse. The two were reportedly spotted together during the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix at Circuit de Monaco last May 25. Some fans on Twitter even went as far as saying that Dobrev and Howard "kissed at some point."

"Nina is currently dating Dominic Howard, of the band Muse. The couple was spotted together at the Grand Prix in Monaco, and partying together with a group of friends at 2014 Coachella," claimed one source.  

Ian Somerhalder, on the other hand, remains single though he has been linked to 'Taken' actress Maggie Grace. The former 'Lost' actor similarly went out on a series of dates with fellow advocate Molly Swenson. However, it turns out that Swenson is nothing but a friend for she has her own boyfriend.
