Paris Jackson's Instagram posts indicated that she's moved on from  her suicide attempt nearly a year ago, as Michael Jackson's daughter is about to leave Utah boarding school permanently.

Browsing through Paris Jackson's Instagram posts shows a normal teenager, with the latest uploaded photo showing her posing with the rest of the Jackson clan, along with Jermaine Jackson who has co-costudy of her and brothers Prince and Blanket.

A source told E! News that Michael Jackson's daughter, despite various reports to the contrary, has not ditched the Utah boarding school where she has been rehabbing since her suicide attempt in June last year.

"She is doing a lot better. She is getting back to normal. I think she has made quite a bit of progress over the past year," the source said, adding that the 16-year-old has made plenty of new friends at the rehab center for troubled teenagers while also staying in touch with her old friends.

"Utah has been exactly what she needed to get better. She is in a much better place than a year ago. It's just a matter of time before she comes home," the source added.

The entertainment news site revealed that there have been discussions among the family and the counselors at the Utah facility and the talks are gearing towards the summer or later this year.

Paris Jackson's Instagram posts belies tension between the Jackson family and her biological mother, Debbie Row.

Last month, RadarOnline reported that Paris Jackson wants to leave the boarding school in Utah and has asked its officials if she can spend summer with biological mother Debbie Rowe.

Debbie Rowe filed custody claims for Paris Jackson and Prince Jackson after saying that Katherine Jackson, who was granted custody, is already too old to be looking after the kids. The custody claim has been branded by the Jackson Estate as a ruse to fleece money from the late King of Pop.
