Taylor Swift was rumored to have spent a night with Austin Mahone at a hotel room having a "food fight," Celeb Dirty Laundry reports, leaving many fans wondering if they may have hooked up or began officially dating.

"Austin was on Chelsea Lately on Wednesday night, and he discussed spending a night with Taylor in her hotel room, engaging in a food fight," the website writes.

"Hmmm... I find it hard to believe that they spent an entire night together in a hotel room, and the only thing they 'engaged in' was throwing food. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Taylor has good guy friends, but I don't think Austin is one of them."

Lucy Hale mentioned during a recent interview with Flare magazine that Taylor Swift's songs about dating "made it OK to talk s**t about your ex-boyfriend," Hollywood Life reports.

Taylor Swift is expected to release a new album with songs about dating, sparking rumors the Red album star will mention her dating experiences with Harry Styles, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal.

"We are not going to announce some other leg of the tour, but what that does mean is that I can throw myself into the next project," Taylor Swift said during a recent interview, MTV News reports.

"I've already been working very hard on it and it's already my favorite thing that I've ever created. So the idea that after Asia, I get to go back and finish everything and get everything completely done and completely wrapped up for a new project, it's very exciting."
