Kevin Durant’s Girlfriend Monica Wright Returns After Knee Surgery; Boyfriend NBA MVP Denies Betting With Rapper The Game

Kevin Durant's girlfriend Monica Wright returned to practice after her knee surgery as boyfriend NBA MVP denied betting $20,000 with rapper The Game.

The Minnesota Lynx will play the Seattle Storm next and they need every help they can get. The WNBA website reported that Kevin Durant's girlfriend Monica Wright practiced for the first time since undergoing surgery during the training camp.

"It felt good. I feel, in mind 100 percent, but my body has to catch up from my mind. I'm not sure how long it's going to take," she said. "Both of our athletic trainers have been working hard with me to get it back going."

She probably won't play against the Seattle Storm, however, Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said that Kevin Durant's girlfriend Monica Wright need to practice with the team.

"For me, I'd really like to bring her along slowly. These three days of practice are really going to be helpful for her." the coach said aboout Kevin Durant's girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant denied to TMZ that he ever placed a bet against The Game for $20,000 for the rapper to make an NBA three.

The NBA MVP also posted on Twitter to further reaffirm his denial, per Slam Online.

"Aight this is it. I never bet the game 20k cash. I never bet him. I told him I would give his aau team kd gear. That's all."

The Game, however, is not taking that denial lightly and even took as far as calling Oklahoma Thunder superstar on his Instagram "a sore loser."

"Now why [Kevin Durant] frontin on the kids homie ?!?!?!? We clearly said..... 'If I made the 3 from NBA range you'd supply the entire @froggallstars program with brand new Kevin Durant shoes'...... 120 kids, close to $200 a shoe equals about $20,000," he wrote.

"How am I lying ???? Just say you a sore loser & you ain't wanna help the kids.... It ain't that they need it cause I bought all 120 kids Lebrons out my own pocket as you can see on their Instagram.. But I thought it would be kool for them to meet you & be able to ball in your shoes especially since they look up to you & I made the shot as WE AGREED," The Game added.
