Dancing With The Stars Rumor alert:  Jennifer Lopez is dating Dancing with the Stars' dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy after her split with Casper Smart, according to source. Hot off the rumors that Dancing With The Stars Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis are dating, rumors are now circulating that the DWTS star is going out with JLo.

Sources told People Magazine that Jennifer Lopez, who is recently single, found time to make time with  Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy in between promotions for her new album A.K.A.m which drops on out June 17.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy used to date Kate Upton. But broke up because of their schedules. Kate Upton and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were spotted at Tao in New York City just a few weeks ago.

A source told E! News that Jennifer Lopez met Maks last at the 2013 American Music Awards last November. J.Lo and Maks shared during Lopez's  tribute to Celia Cruz. A source told the gossip magazine that Maks and Jennifer have kept in touch, adding "They're friends." Another source told Us Magazine, "He performed with her on the AMA's. But [they're] just friends."

According to insiders, Jennifer Lopez met Maks through her friend, Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani, who was Remini's partner on Dancing With the Stars' season 17. The source continues that Maks later danced with J.Lo at the 2013 American Music Awards.

The source told E! News "They were definitely attracted to each other, but nothing happened between them."

At the time Lopez was still going out with her former backup dancer Smart. Maks was dating model Kate Upton. Maks and Kate broke up weeks later. Kate Upton and Maksim Chmerkovskiy split after six months together.

A source who is close to Lopez says "She doesn't have a second to date anyone right now and it is definitely not romantic with Maksim."

"Leah and Jennifer are best friends," the source added. "So as a group, they're all very friendly. [Maks is] in India and [J.Lo's] at the World Cup right now. Who knows what could happen down the road?"

Maksim was most recently linked to his "DWTS" partner Meryl Davis, although they never confirmed they were a couple.

J.Lo's people have not made any to comments yet.
