Tracy Morgan dead? Fans of comedian Tracy Morgan were shocked by news that the comedian died as the inevitable death hoax rumor spread across the net on a false report. Tracy's rep, Lewis Kay, said Morgan's condition was improving.

Tracy Morgan has been pronounced dead by the Internet following a gruesome car accident on June 7 that left a fellow comedian dead and left Morgan in critical condition. Three days after the crash, Twitter users began speculating that Tracy had passed away.

Wal-Mart driver Kevin Roper who is reported to have hit Morgan's touring van pleaded not guilty Wednesday in the fatal New Jersey Turnpike crash. Investigators are looking at what factors contributed to the accident, including sleep deprivation. National Transportation Safety Board spokeswoman Kelly Nantel said the truck driver lived in Jonesboro, Georgia, and commuted to his job, which was based in Delaware,

A criminal complaint alleges that Roper hadn't slept for over 24 hours before the accident when he allegedly swerved to avoid slowed traffic on the Jersey turnpike and hit Morgan's limo on Saturday.

The video was captioned  "R.I.P Tracy Morgan Died Few Minutes Ago In Hospital." The video contained footage from the Morgan's real accident. The video may contain virus or malware

Tracy Morgan's spokesman, Lewis Kay issued a statement saying the comedian is improving after the car accident. The statement reads "Today was a better day. While Tracy remains in critical, but stable, condition, he continues to show signs of improvement. His medical team remains optimistic that his recovery is progressing.  Megan remains by his side and is relaying the countless good wishes and prayers that his family, friends and fans have been sending their way."

The statement also included an update on Morgan's assistant, Jeff Millea: "In addition, Jeff's wife asked us to pass along that Jeff has also shown much improvement over the past few days.  She is very thankful for the love and support she and their family continue to receive."
