Cheer all you want (or not at all) in front of your laptop screen as Uruguay and Costa Rica try to edge ahead of each other to prep themselves as the top two of Group D.

Looks like the odds are in Uruguay's favor. In eight previous meetings, Costa Rica has never won, losing fix and drawing two. Uruguay also boasts in its star striker Luis Suarez and it's expected that he will be tearing up the field, having had his knee surgery just a month ago. He wrote on his Twitter that his knee is on its way to full recovery.

"I want to tell everyone that the recovery is going very well and that the knee feels good. Everything depends on how things go day-by-day, but it is going well [...] I want to thank you all for the messages of support I have received throughout the week and my mind is now focused on the World Cup."

Even if Luis Suarez doesn't lead Uruguay in the first few minutes, the team has the Golden Ball winner from four years ago, Diego Forlan to lean on. The player also has been having stomach problems prior to Brazil World Cup 2014, but it looks like that will not be a long-term problem.

Costa Rica, in a group of three previous World Cup winners, is possibly one of the biggest underdogs in the tournament. Not only that, many of their players are sick or injured. But the captain Bryan Ruiz still insisted having hope.

He told telegraph, "Everything is ready for Saturday. We know what the team will be, the tactics we will use and also what we have to do during the game. There is a lot of motivation and, despite knowing that a point would be good, we don't want to settle and we will look for the three points."

High hopes for the Costa Ricans! Best of luck to them this Brazil World Cup 2014. Tune into free online live streaming of Uruguay vs. Costa Rica to see which team will top the other.
