Cara Delevingne, the social media savvy, avid partier and model-socialite, is now also into movie acting! This is her first big role since Anna Karenina in which she played, an avid partier and socialite, Princess Sorokina. But Cara Delevinge's new role in the British movie that she stars in, 'Timeless' seems to be cut from a different cloth. 'Timeless', unlike Anna Karenina, is set in modern day Britain featuring a middle-class British housewife (played by Cara Delevinge) who is married to a soldier currently dispatched to Afghanistan. Heavy stuff.

If you are expecting extravagant sets and big, swingy dresses, 'Timeless' may not be the movie for you, but it may have its own merits. It delves into the emotional world of spouses left behind in the home country due to the "war against terror", a story not told very often.

But don't expect this movie to hit the silver screens like Anna Karenina did quite yet. 'Timeless', which features Cara Delevinge's first real movie acting, is a succinct made-for-TV film. It is set to air on June 19 in Britain, and if it does well, it may air again.

Cara Delevinge is luck to star opposite an English veteran actress Sylvia Syms, who also experienced getting separated from her husband due to a war.

According to E! Online, 'Timeless' will be "screened later this year as part of the Playhouse Presents season on British channel Sky Arts."
