Preity Zinta Molested And Abused By Ness Wadia: Actress Files A Complaint Against Her Ex-Boyfriend During IPL Match, “It Has Really Disturbed Me”

The famous Bollywood actress Preity Zinta filed a complaint on Saturday alleging that her ex-boyfriend Ness Wadia had abused and molested her during an IPL match at the Wankhede stadium in which Kings XI Punjab were playing the Chennai Super Kings. Turns out, Preity Zinta has been putting up with being molested and abused by Ness Wadia, whom she dated from 2005 to 2009, for many years. Preity Zinta, well-known for her outspoken tendencies and her series of columns for BBC South East Asia, finally decided to take action against Ness Wadia.

In the written complaint submitted to the police, Preity Zinta said that Ness Wadia started "shouting and yelling" at the stadium staff and, when she tried to calm him down, "for no reason he started abusing and screaming at me, grabbed my arm and tried to pull me by hand.

"He has gone to the extent of threatening me with dire consequences and intimidated me by boasting of his political clout and connection. During the match on 30th May at Wankhede Stadium, in the evening, Mr Wadia intimidated me by saying that he could make me disappear as I was a nobody and only an actress and he is a powerful person.

"It has really disturbed me," she concluded the statement.

As reported by Times of India, Ness Wadia responded to the complaint saying, ""I am shocked at the complaint and the allegations made against me are totally false and baseless."

When the actress and the Bombay Dyeing heir, businessman Ness Wadia dated, the Bollywood media loved to track the couple's relationship, often reporting on their possible engagement or break up.

In her Facebook site, the 39-year-old actress wrote that she has suffered many abuses and molestations when she was dating Ness Wadia. Her decision to come out with a formal complaint this time was due to the fact that the incident happened in front of "way too many people". She hoped that the police will do their job "fairly and quickly".

"We are verifying the CCTV footage to identify people present to record their statement," an officer involved in the investigation told Time of India. Looks like this will take a very long time.
