According to multiple reports, Calvin Harris confirmed the news that he and Rita Ora broke up on Twitter last Friday. According to Harris' tweet, the couple separated "some time ago."

On June 6, Harris tweeted "To address speculation -- myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best."

Harris and Ora have been dating for more than a year, off and on. Rita still thought they could work through their issues.

Rita Ora has now been reported to be getting close to Tommy Hilfiger's son Richard after Calvin Harris split.

Last week Rita took to Twitter to explain, "I don't usually address speculation but I've had an incredible time with Calvin, and I will treasure the memories. I've moved on so I hope people will respect that and do the same."

Rita Ora has been seen on the town with Richard Hilfiger, the son of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger. The singer and the designer's son were introduced by a mutual friend at a house party in Hollywood.

Sources tell us Rita and Richard, who is an aspiring rapper, spent the night talking together and put up a cozy picture of them together on Instagram.

A source at the party said: "One of Rita's friends invited her to a house party and introduced her to Rich. They clicked straight away and Rita seemed to be hanging on his every word. After a while they slipped away from the rest of the party. The new-found friendship was all everyone was talking about."
