Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart breakup has been making the headlines and an alleged third party involved is now being rumored to be the cause of the split.

While the "I Luh Ya Papi" songstress has been actively linked to "Dancing With the Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy - her partner in a Cecilia Cruz tribute during the American Music Awards in November -  she managed to shut down the rumors immediately before taking the stage to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The award-winning performer took to Twitter last Wednesday to clarify the rumors after Pittsburgh radio station Qburgh (92.9 FM) suggested that she was already dating someone new.

"No I'm not. #rumors #nottrue #AKAinstoresJune17 :)" she wrote Thursday morning, while plugging her upcoming album, "A.K.A."

Then a fan asked her to clarify whether she and Casper Smart hadn't broken up or she wasn't just dating now, she answered: "No I'm not. (dating anyone new already.)"

Jennifer Lopez who recently broken up with her former backup dancer Casper Smart, was immediately rumored to have quickly moved on from the split.

In her latest interview with Gerrick Kennedy of The Times, Lopez talked about her public love story, the effects of her 2011 split from ex-husband Marc Anthony and how it inspired her to make the album "A.K.A."

"These last four years, I felt like I really had to look at myself. One of the things I realized was I had to love myself a little bit more," Lopez said. "That was a huge lesson for me. My kids [she and Anthony had twins in 2008] taught me that. They teach you a sort of unconditional kind of love and what it should feel like. It's very selfless and pure.

"The breakup just made me go make some real realizations about myself. When you get to the point of loving yourself ... you start going, 'OK, well, who am I?' Myself happens to be many things. Do I love all those parts? The good parts, the messy parts. And when I said that, so many things happened for this album."
