Chris Evans & Sandra Bullock Dating? ‘Gravity’ Star Plays Coy About Rumored Romance With Captain America – ‘I Hope Everyone Can Respect Our Privacy’

Are Chris Evans and Sandra Bullock dating? Apparently, the Hollywood stars are yet to put a title to their "relationship," but they are mutually attracted with each other and that they are in the early stages of getting to know each other, according to E! Online.

"They are not in a relationship, but they are definitely hanging out and are in the early getting-to-know-each-other phase," the source reveals. "They haven't put a title on it, but they really like each other."

However, the Decade of Hotness awardee addressed the rumors with such charisma telling Entertainment Tonight, "You guys are a little behind."

"We've since married and it started breaking apart, so we separated," joked the Gravity star. "We filed for divorce, and I hope everyone can respect our privacy. But we're going to remain friends and share responsibility of the farm animals we've taken on, because you just can't abandon the animals."

The budding romance rumors sparked when the two were caught on a "group date" with pal Chelsea Handler at Cecconi's in West Hollywood. A month prior, the rumored couple was also spotted in West Hollywood this time in the area's hot spot Craig's also with Handler and Melissa McCarthy.

The Captain America 2 star and the Gravity actress have known each other since 2012, where they were introduced during Vanity Fair's Oscar Party. "I used to be in love with Sandra Bullock when I was growing up. Sandy B. was my girl," Evans admitted to Playboy three months later. "I remember seeing Speed when I was in seventh grade and just thinking, 'That's her.'"

The 32-year-old actor also admitted that he had a "big poster" of the 49-year-old actress during his teenage years.

Chris Evans is currently single, following his split with on again off again girlfriend Minka Kelly on October.

"I like women who get emotional about babies and puppies. I've met some incredibly cool women who are tough, but the woman you marry should have a really soft side," he admitted Women's Health in 2012. The Captain America star added that he despises "arrogance and false modesty" in relationships. "Nothing is worse than a beautiful girl fishing for compliments by saying how gross she is," Evans said. "On the flip side, I find genuine humility and modesty attractive."

"I like girls who are self-deprecating. I like girls who make fun of themselves. If you can't poke fun at yourself, what are you? I just want someone with a good soul. That's about it," he revealed to Playboy.

"The rest I'm really flexible on."

However, Evans admitted that he wants to have a family of his own.

"I want to get married, though. I want children -- to me that's the ultimate thing," he recently told Glamour UK. "When you're old and on your deathbed, looking back at your life it's not going to be the films you've made or what you've accomplished, it's the relationships you have. You're survived by things that matter -- the people you love and those who love you back."

Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock also remains to be single following her very public and controversial breakup with Jesse James.

"If [a relationship] should come along, great," Bullock admitted to Entertainment Weekly late last year. "But I feel like I'm not missing anything yet. Maybe one day I will."

Bullock is known to be dating younger men; In 2002, she had a yearlong relationship with Ryan Gosling, who's 16 years younger than her.
