Shailene Woodley And Shiloh Fernandez Kiss Six Times In ‘White Bird In A Blizzard’ Clip; ‘Divergent’ Actress Revealed How She Made Love Scenes Appear ‘Realistic’

Fans of teen romance flick 'The Fault in Our Stars' might be stunned to see Shailene Woodley and Shiloh Fernandez kiss six times in an exclusive clip of 'White Bird in a Blizzard'.

As opposed to her innocent role as cancer-stricken teenager in 'The Fault in Our Stars,' the 22-year-old actress will next portray 17-year-old Kat who loses her virginity to her much older neighbor, Phil.

After being abandoned by her mother, Kat sheds her innocence through the help of her next-door neighbor. Together, they explore the passion that comes with teenage love. In the released clip of the movie, Shailene Woodley and Shiloh Fernandez kiss six different times - on top of a car, in a swimming pool, on a couch, and even in a crowded hallway.

The indie flick already made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January. It will be released on VOD and iTunes on September 25 and its theater release will follow one month after. In her previous interview, Woodley talked about her desire to make the love scenes as truthful as possible.

"Everyone was freaked out because I'm nude, but in real life, when I have sex, I'm naked. I don't have a bra on, and I don't usually have panties on. So let's make a real movie! Let's bring truth to the scene! I didn't want to be exploited, but this girl-like most girls when they first have sex-doesn't know what she's doing. I wanted their first kiss to be sloppy, teenagerish making out. When you're younger, you think you know what to do, but you really don't," she told New York Magazine.

She similarly addressed the deletion of her scenes as Mary Jane Watson in 'Amazing Spiderman 3.' Until now, no news has been released as to who will replace the doe-eyed beauty as Peter Parker's love interest.

"For a few hours it was literally like, 'Oh, my God, was I awful? Why did they cut me? What are people going to think?' I woke up the next morning and I was like, 'O.K., it makes total sense.' I'm a pretty spiritual person, so I can just sit back and trust that everything happens for a reason, even if my ego doesn't like it," she told Vanity Fair.
