EXO-K's Homepage Allegedly Hacked

EXO has been going through an extremely rough time.

Between EXO-M's Kris withdrawing from the megagroup, and now Baekhyun coming under fire not only for hiding his relationship with Girls' Generation's Taeyeon but also for underage drinking claims, EXO could use a break. But on June 19, the EXO-K official homepage started showing weird messages.

All SMTown homepages feature an area where the idols leave messages for their fans. The members leave messages to their fans, and occasionally even respond to fan's messages.

Instead of the first message being from an EXO member, it is instead a post written by someone named Park Hoon Young. The title of his post roughly translates to "I can't go up what should I do" with laughter.

The last post was made by Suho, with the title "This is EXO's guardian leader Suho." That was the last post made by an EXO member. The homepage currently says that it was posted on May 22, however fans pointed out that Suho originally posted it on May 26.

After the website instiz alerted fans to the hacking, EXO-K's Official Website trended worldwide on Twitter for a few hours.

EXO dominated Twitter on June 19, thanks to several hours of trending worldwide about Baekhyun and Taeyeon's new relationship.

Fans on Twitter are guessing that the timing of Park Hoon Young's hacking relates to being a fan of either Baekhyun or Taeyeon, and being annoyed with their relationship.

SM Entertainment has yet to respond to the hacking, and the post has yet to be removed even though several hours have passed.

EXO has been going through a hard time lately, and it is unfortunate that anti-fans are taking advantage of the friction and causing even more problems. Hopefully, the group will be able to reorganize and continue as one of the most popular K-Pop idol groups in the world.
