According to the Telegraph, both Switzerland and France have a "good chance of making it through to the second round of the tournament after winning their opening fixtures."

France had a "confident victory" over Honduras and the Swiss also beat Ecuador in their opening game in a dramatic 2-1 result, when Haris Seferovic scored in the 93rd minute, according to the Independent UK.

The last few times these teams have met, they've tied. In the 2006 World Cup, Switzerland and France tied 0 - 0. In the World Cup Qualifying in 2005, they again tied 1-1.

Switzerland have conceded just two goals in their last eight World Cup games, the publication reports. However, if France scores against Switzerland, it will be their 100th World Cup goal. Switzerland have not beaten France since 1992 when they won 2-1 in a friendly.

France have won 15 games to Switzerland's 12, with nine drawn in 35 previous clashes.
