Manny Pacquiao News: Next Fight With Juan Manuel Marquez Possible Says Freddie Roach? Amir Khan Also Up For Consideration

Manny Pacquiao news is up and his trainer Freddie Roach talked about "Pacman's" next fight with Juan Manuel Marquez. Meanwhile, the Filipino champion's former sparring partner, Amir Khan, is also aiming to get a shot at a bout against him.

In an interview with theboxingvoice.com, the hall-of-fame trainer seemed positive about the Manny Pacquiao news involving a fifth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez.

"I think he'll [Marquez] come to the table sooner or later," the trainer was quoted saying.

According to boxingnews24.com, Freddie Roach appeared too eager to push for the fifth installment of the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez this November.

"Roach is like a dog that won't let go of a bone, he badly wants the aging Marquez to agree to another fight with Pacquiao for some reason." Chris Williams wrote for the news site. "It obviously must still bug Roach how Marquez knocked Pacquiao down twice in their last two years ago and left him face down on the canvas sawing logs."

Further Manny Pacquiao news revealed that "Pacman," his promoter Bob Arum, and trainer Freddie Roach do not have much choice for his next fight.

Boxers Tim Bradley, Danny Garcia, Ruslan Provodnikov, Chris Algieri and Saul Alvarez are all out of the picture for some reason.

But the Filipino champion's former sparring partner, Amir Khan, expressed his desire to be in the running for Manny Pacquiao's next fight.

"I am looking at the likes of (Juan Manuel) Marquez and Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather - they are the big names and that is where I belong fighting the top guys," said "King Khan" in an interview with Sky Sports.

"There are talks about Manny Pacquiao happening in the future - may be next. So I have left my team, Al Haymon and my team Khan Promotions to do everything," he added.
