If you are a Rookie Yearbook fan, make sure to grab a ticket to 'This is Our Youth' starring Tavi Gevinson, soon to be on Broadway! The rumors are that Tavi Gevinson is channeling her emotions from the breakup in her Broadway debut. What a way to spend the gap year before heading off to college!

Those that know the 18-year-old Tavi Gevinson, the most recent breakup with her boyfriend has been quite intense. According to New York Time Magazine, her first serious relationship ended two weeks before her 18th birthday.

"Gevinson had several lists tacked to a wood-paneled door in her bedroom, in her direct line of sight when she lies on her bed, head resting on her mascara-smeared Miranda July pillow. The cluster began with an exhortation in pink watercolor paint: "LIVE THROUGH THIS."

For the Rookie Yearbook creator, these were some of the items on the list to live through:

"Letting him go, Loving myself, Becoming myself."

The Magazine reported that Tavi Gevinson and her boyfriend ended their relationship "amicably but sadly".

Looks like Tavi Gevinson has a lot of feelings to draw from in her performance for 'This Is Our Youth', starting Broadway performances on August 18 at Cort Theater. She will portray Jessica, "the anxiously insightful young woman" that one of the other male characters falls for.

According to the producer, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, "Set in New York in 1982, 'This Is Our Youth' follows forty-eight hours in the lives of three very lost young souls... [The Play] is a living snapshot of the moment when many young people go out into the world on their own, armed only with the ideas and techniques they developed as teenagers-far more sophisticated than their parents realize, and far less effectual than they themselves can possibly imagine."

Maybe through 'This is Our Youth', Tavi will be able to get over her breakup with her boyfriend and get ready to face her college years! As she moves on from Rookie Yearbook to Broadway to college, we can't wait to see what she will be up to next!
