There is no question about it - Japan has to win to become one of the two countries to advance into the round of 16. Even if the Japan vs. Colombia game comes to a draw, it may be no good for the Eastern Asian country. The key is for Japan to score as many goals as it can to push Ivory Coast behind.  

"We're betting everything on this next match," Japan striker Shinji Okazaki told AP. "We're going to give it everything we can."

Coach for the Japan's team Alberto Zaccheroni has been saving the Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa, who was missing from Japan vs. Greece. When asked if he was planning to put Kagawa on the field, he replied, "Let me repeat what I answered before, it doesn't depend on a certain player or attacker," said Zaccheroni. "It depends on the ensemble, on the whole team."

But it's not just up to Japan. The country has to pray that Greece can put at least one goal against Ivory Coast. That may be a harder task to hope for.

If all doesn't pan out the way Japan wants it to, according to the AP, at least the country will feel consoled by having some very dedicated fans. Fans who are dedicated enough to "clean up their garbage after each match".

"I think what they have done is something that makes us very proud," said Japan captain Makoto Hasebe.
