MelOn To Establish Win-Win Platform With Entertainment Companies

Online music store MelOn will transform its platform and analyze music preferences of its customers.

On June 24, MelOn stated that for its 10th anniversary, it will release information about consumer data for the past 10 years, to shift its business paradigm and establish a new music life service.

Through this platform, MelOn will analyze each member's artist and genre preference and provide entertainment companies with the data.

MelOn stated, "This shift in paradigm will advance the music market and prove a win-win situation for all involved."

Meanwhile, Korea's biggest music service MelOn is currently host to 24 million members and holds more than 3 million songs on its platform.
