The relationship between Danny Moder and Julia Roberts have been not so great for a while, according to the British magazine Grazia.

"Things are really bad right now," a source told Grazia. "[Roberts and Moder have] been having problems for a long time and can't seem to remedy it."

The 46-year-old Julia Roberts and 45-year-old Danny Moder reportedly have been trying to make their marriage work for their kids' sake, but it looks like the problems have escalated.

The death of Danny Moder's half sister, Nancy, seems to have triggered this escalation.

"Nancy's death really made Danny realize how heartless Julia can be," the insider revealed.

The fact that Julia Roberts has been rumored to flirt with Mark Ruffalo, her 'The Normal Heart' co-star probably didn't aid the situation. What she thought was a good distraction from all her marital problems most likely added to the drama.

"While Julia and Danny have been through rough patches before, this time I don't think she is sure her marriage is repairable. It seems Julia's preparing for the worst."

In all this craziness, Grazia reports that Meryl Streep has been a big source of comfort.

"They're planning to attend the Anubhuti Meditation & Retreat Center in Novato, California, together to cheer Julia up. They are really close, and Meryl is a wonderful force to have around," the source told Grazia.

Maybe the America's Sweetheart is looking to get some advice from the three-time Academy Award winner, who has kept her marriage going for almost 40 years.
