Nigeria's Joseph Yobo turned the ball into his own net in stoppage time under pressure from France substitute Antoine Griezmann. Yobo scored an own goal, much to the dismay of the tough Nigerian defense. Watch the video below:

Earlier, Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama made a fantastic save, tipping over Karim Benzema's header, ABC News reports. But just moments later, he ran out of the goal to try to catch the ball and Paul Pogba headed in a goal at the 79th minute.

Nigeria had a goal ruled out for offside in the 19th minute after Emmanuel Emenike touched Ahmed Musa's cross into the goal.

France's win propels them to the World Cup 2014 quarterfinals, which will take place on Friday, July 4. They will likely face Germany at the Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, as they are favored to win against Algeria this afternoon.
