The free games for Xbox Live Gold members for July 2014 have already been revealed!

According to Microsoft, there will be a total of 4 free games for Xbox Live Gold members this July 2014, and apparently, one of them was already available for free  beginning June .

The Xbox One title, "Max: The Curse of Brotherhood," which was one of the two free games for Xbox Live Gold members in June will stay at the Xbox Store for 0 Microsoft Point this July. Meanwhile, another Xbox One game which is going to be part of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members this July 2014 is "Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition."

 "Guacamelee!" will replace "Halo: Spartan Assault," one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members for June. The Super Turbo Championship Edition brings in new enemies, bosses, powers and a lot more.

Meanwhile, as posted on Gamespot, Xbox 360 users will be able to get "Gotham City Impostors" beginning July 1. However, it will only be free until July 15.

 A first-person shooter multiplayer game, Gotham City Impostors is "set in the Batman universe, but it doesn't feature the Dark Knight," as described on IGN.

On July 16, Gotham City Impostors will be replaced by another one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members which is "BattleBlock Theater."

Also for Xbox 360 users, Battleblock Theater is a platformer  developed by The Behemoth. The game was published by Microsoft Studios for the console. The gameplay, as described on its Wikipedia page:

"In BattleBlock Theater, players control a prisoner as they are forced to play through games devised by Hatty Hattington. Controls are simple, with the game largely consisting of running, jumping and punching. Levels are made up of various types of blocks, such as collapsing blocks, sticky walls, bouncy volcanic rocks and deadly spikes, and also feature hazards such as water and deadly creatures."
