Katt Williams Under Investigation By LAPD After Pulling Gun On Heckler In West Hollywood Comedy Club

Katt Williams allegedly drew a gun on a heckler at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood on Tuesday night, July 1. The comedian triggered a 911 emergency that pulled cops to the scene with their guns drawn.

Today troubled standup comedian Katt Williams is facing a police investigation over allegations that he drew a gun in the crowded comedy club.

TMZ reports that eyewitness saw Williams pull a gun on a heckler making fun of his race and height.

According to TMZ, Katt was hanging out at the West Hollywood club when the incident occurred. Eyewitnesses allege Katt reportedly "went crazy" and started threatening the heckler with a gun.

TMZ says six cop cars showed up and deputies pointed shot guns and bean bag guns at the club.

Katt Williams had already left.

No arrest warrant has been issued yet. Police say they are still investigating.

Katt recently admitted to the audience at the Arsenio Hall show that if he got his act together and moved on from his behavior he'd be greater than he is today.

Williams told HipHollywood that a lot of his troubles come from poor luck with the law because he fits "a lot of profiles" and looks "physically imposing" to officers.
