Telltale's the Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 4 "Amid the Ruins" video game's release date was hinted by a new trailer that had been posted online.

Telltale Studios' use of "coming soon" has been interpreted to mean the game is coming at some point this month. Fans are anxious, as the trailer alludes to the death of a major character.

"Captured, bloody and beaten; Clementine and her group learn what it's like to live under the heel of a leader whose intelligence is rivaled only by his propensity for brutal violence. With escape being a priority, Clem is forced to make hard-hitting decisions in this episode," reads the video description in the trailer.

"The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 3" launched in May. Titled, "In Harms Way," it came out for PS3, Windows PC, and Mac on May 13, and on May 14 it arrived on Xbox 360. The iOS received a release of May 15.

A tweet from the studio reads"Clementine and her group are captured by a brutally violent new leader. Are you ready to make hard-hitting decisions in order to escape?" the official trailer subscription reads. "Only the strong will survive in Episode 3 of The Walking Dead: The Game Season Two, available to download on #XboxLive now!"

The Walking Dead Season 1 video game is now listed on GameStop for the PS4 and Xbox One. According to the retailer's website, the game was listed for June 17 at $29.99 for the Game of the Year Editions. The original versions of the game were released in November for PS3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.

The current series, Season 2, was launched on the PS Vita on April 22 by Telltale after being available only on major platforms.

"Season Two continues the story that began in Season One. You are Clementine, a young survivor in a world gone to hell. The dead have risen to feast on the living, the living cannot be trusted. Choice matters: The decisions you make in the game change the story around you," the description of the game's trailer read.
