'Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain' Release Date, Trailer, And Gameplay Information: PS4 and Xbox One Stealth Game By Hideo Kojima Finishes Voice Recording [VIDEO]

"Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain" has a rumored release date after is hot debut at E3 last month.

"Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain" is a continuation of "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes," which was released earlier this year. The trailer for the game actually first debuted in December 2012.

It wasn't long before fans became suspicious about the mystery trailer, so in March 2013, "Metal Gear Solid V" was officially announced as a two part game. "Ground Zeroes" has been described as a prologue to the main "Phantom Pain" game.

Most recently, during E3 2014 on 9 June, a fifth "Metal Gear Solid  Phantom Pain" trailer was shown at the Sony press conference.

Later in June, the games' creator Hideo Kojima took to Twitter to reveal that he had spent an the entire day recording voices for "The Phantom Pain," which led to the conclusion that the release date is still a long way off.

According to Gaming Bolt, the voice recording process is usually the among the longest running production processes when creating a game, particularly a cinematic game with long cut scenes such as this one. So this could mean that we'll be waiting until way into 2015 for the second part of Metal Gear Solid V.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is an open world, third person stealth-action game that encourages you to avoid enemies rather than confront them.

One of the new features in The Phantom Pain, as shown off during E3 earlier this year, is non-lethal takedowns. If you choose to, you'll be able to take an enemy back to your Mother Base and train them to join your army, rather than kill them. You'll also be able to collect vehicles and equipment, which will be available to you from your base. It's also believed that a big focus of the game will be rebuilding the base that was destroyed previously.

You'll be able to speed up the new, more realistic passage of time using the e-cigarette (formerly cigarette) and now use the Box as a decoy, to take out a target or dive for cover.
