Ashton Irwin, the drummer of 5 Seconds of Summer, turns 20 today! Will he celebrate this new decade with Gemma Styles? 5SOS has the day off today so the boys will have plenty to do with Ashton Irwin. But the real question is, will Harry's older sister Gemma Styles show up for the festivities? With or without her, it looks like the boys are making sure that 'Don't Stop' drummer is getting the love he deserves on his birthday.

Twitter exploded with fan messages from all over the world, including Romania, England and of course, 5 Seconds of Summer's home country, Australia. The fans have been using the hashtag, #ashtonbirthdayproject, to post special pictures and congratulatory messages on Twitter.

Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood, also ramped up their love for the 5SOS drummer boy on his special day. 5 Seconds of Summer Twitter page comically posted a picture of Ashton Irwin sporting a kiddie shopping cart with a caption, "Ashton loving his new birthday present":

The 5SOS boys also posted personal messages for their newly-20-turned friend. Luke Hemmings wrote, "Happy birthday to my muscular best frand :-) He's asleep, but I can hear him being 20 in the other bunk love ya irwie :)" Calum wrote, "Happy birthday to this lad! Shared so many memories with him. The big 50!" and posted a little picture of them together:

Michael also joined in the birthday bash and tweeted, "HAPPY BURFDAY TO THE GREAT MAN THAT IS ASHTON IRWIN I lav u".

The only one not participating in the birthday celebration, it seems, is Gemma Styles, who has been rumored to date this fabulous 'Don't Stop' drummer. Gemma Styles and Ashton have been keeping their relationship on the down low so it's possible that she won't publically post a birthday message on Twitter.

To show gratitude for all the loving that he got today, Ashton posted a cute little picture of an embryo with his trademark bandana.
