Action Park Returns Despite Six Recorded Deaths! 'The Most Insane Theme Park' Has Fans Excited For The Reopening In New Jersey! Will You Take The Challenge?

The theme park that was dubbed "The Most Insane Theme Park ever made" is set to re-open for the summer. Despite having six recorded deaths in the premises, fans all over are excited for the reopening of Action Park in New Jersey.

Action Park is an extreme waterpark that was opened in 1978 until 1996 when it was shut down. The main selling point of the rides was that it was more 'active' (hence the name) as opposed to roller coasters and the like where you would just sit down.

But since some rides leave essential elements like speed under the patron's control which can be children or drunk adults.

From the NY Daily News:

"'Action Park' is the notorious 'extreme' amusement park that operated on the site of Mountain Creek Resort from 1978 to 1996. Six visitors died there, and its seemingly anything-goes approach to summer fun earned it the nicknames 'Class Action Park' and 'Traction Park.'"

The site will soon be renamed "Action Park" again, and it brings back memories:

"The place was as packed with urban legends as it was with lawsuits: Some - snakes in the rapids ride - were most likely fiction; others - tales of the owner bribing employees with cash to test drive some of the rides for safety or starting his own insurance company - were real."

A documentary that went viral last year proved that the nostalgia of Action Park was alive and well, even if most of the cuts, bruises and maybe fractures have healed.

The Alpine Slide was presented as a children's ride where there is supposed to be a brake to control the speed. But according to the patrons in the documentary, "it was always broken." It's either it was too fast and you can't slow it down or too slow and someone will crash into you.
