Minecon 2014, the all-things Minecraft event, will happen in Europe!

The latest detail that emerged regarding Minecon 2014 was hinted by a tweet from Lyndia Winters, as a response to a tweet from another Twitter user.

According to Winters, Mojang's Director of Fun, Minecon 2014 location is in Europe. Check out the Twitter conversation below, which reveals that the Minecon 2014 location will be in Europe:

However, there's no revelation yet as to which city or country Minecon 2014 will be held. 

Minecon is a yearly convention for the popular sandbox video game, Minecraft, created by indie developer Mojang. According to Minecraft.Gamepedia.com, the event started as a spontaneous assembly of Minecraft fans in Bellevue, Washington on August 31, 2010, which they dubbed as MinecraftCon 2010.

And in 2011, the very first and official Minecon took place. Minecon 2011 was held in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas and was attended by 5000 fans.

Apart from the Minecraft 2014 location, no other detail about this year's Minecraft convention has been disclosed yet. But it is expected that more information for Minecon 2014 will be released in the coming weeks or months.

Also, Minecon 2014 ticket information will definitely become available shortly after Mojang announces official details of the convention in Europe. Based on previous Minecon ticket prices, it can be estimated that passes for the Minecon 2014 will be worth $150 - $160. Also, according to this post, the projected Minecon 2014 date is November 1 - 2.

Another Minecon 2014 announcement to look forward to is the free in-game Minecraft capes. It has been Mojang's tradition to offer Minecraft capes to attendees of their annual event.
