Seinfeld Emoji Download Available: Cult TV Show ‘Seinfeld’ Made Into iOS App With Bubblehead Emoticons, Seinfeld2000 Collaborates With Kevin McCauley

Seinfeld emojis are here and it's here to stay. When we've all resigned ourselves that 'Seinfeld' will not be a part of everyday life, @seinfeld2000's Jason Richards has made the cult TV show into an iOS app with a little help from Houston-base graphic designer Kevin McCauley. The big question is, when will the app become available for download?

See the bubblehead emoticons of lovable 'Seinfeld' characters and memorabilia on Instagram:

'Seinfeld' emojis will include Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer as well as other favorite recurring items like marble rye, fluffy shirt, etc. With a touch of a touchscreen button, you can recreate a 'Seinfeld' episode all in one text message!

Jason Richards, the genius behind @seinfeld2000, a Twitter and Instagram account that documents the possibility of Seinfeld in everyday life, said to the press, "My self-imposed mission statement is to continuously find ways to marry Seinfeld to things that are current or modern".

So how this all come about? After Jason Richards woke up one morning with the idea of capturing the spirit of 'Seinfeld' with a handful of emoticons, he found the graphic designer Kevin McCauley to collaborate with. At first, Jason thought about having about 20 or so emojis in the app, but McCauley, being a huge Seinfeld cult follower, turned in more than 40 illustrations of emoticons.

"I was a huge fan, so when [Richards] contacted me, I was just really excited," McCauley said to the Guardian. "Especially the chance to work on something with him because I think he's just so creative and hilarious".

But this just may be one elaborate hoax for Jason Richards, also a crazy fan of 'Seinfeld' to get in touch with someone from the cult TV show. "We would love it if Jerry would see this," McCauley said. "If there was some kind of acknowledgement from someone involved in the show, I think we would die. That would be the coolest."

Seinfeld Emoji, a free iOS app, will be available for download from Apple App Store, as early as next week.
