Assassin’s Creed 5 Release Date: Unity vs. Comet Competition? [UPDATE] Ubisoft PS4, Xbox One & PC Game Information To Come Out Soon

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has hinted at the existence of Assassin's Creed 5: Comet and may offer its Unity counterpart competition.

"More info on that soon," Guillemot said, according to IGN.

"It will come soon."

Newegg is offering a credit deal for the digital Xbox One version of Assassin's Creed 5: Unity, giving fans $20 worth of free features within the game.

Assassin's Creed 5: Unity will "probably ship with an MRSP of $59.99," Game Front reports.

The game's developer, Ubisoft, has announced that it is confident the PC version of Assassin's Creed 5: Unity will have an October 28 release date along with its next-generation console versions.

"We're always aiming to ship all our games on all platforms at the same time," Producer Phord-Toy told Rock Paper Shotgun during an interview, Game Spot reports.

"I don't have any specific news on the PC version of Assassin's Creed Unity, but I do know we're planning on shipping on all three [platforms]: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. I haven't heard any news differently than that."

Assassin's Creed 5: Unity "seems a lot more fleshed-out that other Assassin's Creed games," Trusted Reviews opines.

"Rather than having to exit the game and head to the map menu, Ubisoft has layered mission markers and other important information over your view of the city itself. How this will pan out in the final game isn't clear yet, but when you climb up high enough the game presents small indicators that show the way to reach various goals, including story missions and assassination contracts," the website writes.

"Of course, climbing up to the heights rooftops is synonymous with Assassin's Creed titles, as are those swan dives that you can perform to quickly descend. You'll be pleased to hear both of these are still there, but Ubisoft has revamped the control system to make free-running and climbing a lot more natural and intuitive."
