Oscar Pistorius Murder Case: ‘Blade Runner’s’ Twitter Flooded With Inspirational Quotes; Verdict On Killing Of Girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp Out Next Month?

Oscar Pistorius murder case is on break before the judge will rule next month relating to the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp but the Twitter account of the "Blade Runner" is suddenly flooded with inspirational quotes.

On July 14, with the Oscar Pistorius murder case sentence looming, the former Olympian posted an image with an inspirational quote that said, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted."

Nearly half an hour later, the "Blade Runner" again posted a collage of him mingling with fans along with the words: "You have the ability to make a difference in someone's life. Sometimes it's the simple things you say or do that can make someone feel better or inspire them."

Finally, about eight minutes later, he posted a passage from Victor Frankl's book "Man's Search for Meaning."

According to Jay Hart of Yahoo Sports, the book was "written after his (Frankl) time served in Auschwitz, in which he lays out his concept known as Logotherapy. One of its basic principles is that 'life has meaning under all circumstances, even the most miserable ones.'"

The Oscar Pistorius murder trial for the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp is nearing conclusion as the defense rests its case.

According to the NY Times, the Oscar Pistorius' OJ Simpson like murder trial for the killing of the "Blade Runner's" girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp took one step closer to the finish during the 39th day of hearing. The defense and prosecution will return on August 7-8 so they can make their oral arguments.

The publication said that Judge Thokozile Matilda Masipa will hand down her verdict before the end of next month.

The defense's case suffered a major blow after the psych evaluation did not prove that he suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

"Mr. Pistorius did not suffer from a mental illness or defect that would have rendered him criminally not responsible for the offence charged," state prosecutor Gerrie Nel read the report, according to BBC, last week.
