2014 FIFA World Cup: Who will win it?

The finalists of Brazil 2014 have so many things to compare on. Their strengths and great performances made them both deserving teams to be the last groups fighting for the crown. They showed full dedication for this tournament and the numbers prove it all.

Germany got the highest number of goals in European qualifying with 36 shared out between several different players. Thomas Muller together with Mario Gotze, Miroslav Klose and Andre Schurrle have all four goals while Marco Reus and and Mesut Ozil were a couple of Germans who scored more than Muller. On the other side, the great Messi got the second highest tally of goals in the entire 2014 Brazil qualifying campaign with Deon McCaulay, Robin van Persie and Luis Suarez bagged more strikes than the prolific man. In total, comparing the two incredible players - Thomas Muller had 4 goals in 10 games as Messi owned 10 goals in 14 games.

When talking about Brazil 2014 goals including the overwhelming semi-final round, Thomas Muller had 5 while Messi got 4 goals. It seems like there was a monkey on Messi's back going into the tournament. He had scoreless World Cup in eight years since his sole strike at the 2006 Finals in which he was granted to become the youngest Argentine World Cup goalscorer. The not so patient Maracana spectators watched on in his side's opening game against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Messi delivered after an hour of play. He then scored in a most memorable way after driving several defenders before smashing in off. Muller started with a blast and incredible performance. The devastating performance of his team set the tone for the rest of the tournament. All that time, Muller was at the forefront. He also scored first in the 7-1 demolition against the hosting team, Brazil.

The last thing to know about then is that who will win it? Who will have the 2014 FIFA World Cup title?
