Katherine Heigl’s New Television Show ‘State Of Affairs’ Delves Into CIA; Former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Dispels Rumors She’s Hard To Work With

Katherine Heigl's new television show "State of Affairs" delves into the inner workings of the CIA, as the former "Grey's Anatomy" star dispelled rumors that she's hard to work with.

In an interview with Zap2it blog, Katherine Heigl's new television show "State of Affairs" will give viewers glimpses of how the White House and the CIA operate.

"This is an actual job and I had never realized that. A lot of people have asked me does this really happen, does the president have a briefer? And I thought the opportunity to delve into that and show this side of the CIA was really compelling," the actress said.

Katherine Heigl's new television show "State of Affairs" also allows her to play an intelligent woman and a real patriot who is trying to help the President do his job.

"The idea that this is rife with all kinds of fascinating stories about this country and this world and what goes on that we don't really know much about, it felt like an extraordinary role and story to tell for me," she added.

Meanwhile, during the press tour of Katherine Heigl's new television show "State of Affairs," the former "Grey's Anatomy" star belied the reports that she's difficult to work with.

"I can't really speak to that. I can only say that I certainly don't see myself as being difficult. I would never intend to be difficult," she said, in a report by MailOnline.

In an article published September 12, 2013, a source told The Hollywood Reporter that Katherine Heigl was not worth the $12 million she commands per project as she can be very difficult to work with.

"She can cost you time every single day of shooting. Wardrobe issues, not getting out of the trailer, questioning the script every single day," the source told the tabloid.

She also claimed that her mother, Nancy Heigl, is also not hard to work with contrary to the reports by tabloids.

"I don't think my mother sees herself as being difficult. We always... I think it's important to everybody to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully and kindly. If I've ever disappointed somebody, it was never intentional," she added.
