"The Flash" TV series spoilers revealed that writer Geoff Johns has joined the show while "Arrow" cast Stephen Amell is reportedly set to appear in future episodes.

The DenOfGeek website revealed that comic book fans would recognize Geoff Johns because he has written his fair share of the title. The site also revealed "The Flash" TV series spoilers when it said that David Nutter will direct the pilot and episode 2, which is going to be called "Fastest Man Alive."

"This is probably a good thing," the website said. "'The Flash' pilot packs an awful lot of origin story into its 40-something minutes, so there's still a lot to establish about this world and its rules. Calling it "Fastest Man Alive," which historically was the tagline for the 'Flash' comics also seems to hint that this is a bit of an addition to the pilot."

Matt Webb Mitovich wrote "The Flash" TV series spoilers at TVLine on the reported appearance of Stephen Amell on the show.

"I can tell you that it's a nice enough, if obvious, moment, where Barry seeks out the nudge he needs to be the hero he now can be," he wrote.

"Now, if I can interest you in some Episode 2 scoop, I am hearing that the second metahuman The Flash will face off against might make us all feel a bit... well, Mist-y," he added.

Casts Grant Gustin and Candice Patton, meanwhile, were spotted in Vancouver, Canada on Friday afternoon where they are currently filming "The Flash." The actress was also seen picking up a little snack during filming breaks, JustJared said.

"The Flash" TV series cast Gustin Grant also tweeted a photo of the set along with this caption: "First day in the chair. So excited. #TheFlash."

Meanwhile, in another news, "The Flash" TV series cast Gustin Grant seemed excited about the news Robbie Amell joining the show as Firestorm or Robbie Raymond.

"The Flash" TV series cast Gustin Grant commented: "DOPE!! Pumped about it. Let's do this," Grant tweeted to the news.
