Benedict Cumberbatch’s long-time friend spilled the beans on his acquisition of a new girlfriend. Since then, there has been no more hints about Benedict Cumberbatch’s new lady. But with him receiving Outstanding Leading Actor for this year’s Emmy Awards, he may bring his secret girlfriend with him. Will he bring Dakota Johnson, Katia Elizarova or his long-lost girlfriend Olivia Poulet?

Last month, the new York Post reported that the PBS head Rebecca Eaton "wouldn’t say whom the 'Sherlock' actor has met, but she said it’s time for all those 'Cumberb---hes' — the name used by his huge base of female followers — to move on" .

So who is his girlfriend? If we take hints from his previous interviews, it must be someone who is naturally beautiful, without any makeup on. He told Elle magazine that he finds a woman sexy who “doesn’t have to get all decked out to look good”. He also added that A woman who can make you feel smart with her conversation skills is also sexy. I believe the sense of humour is important”.

So funny and beautiful, huh? Dakota Johnson, the star of ‘50 Shades of Grey’ fits the bill! She and Benedict were seen grabbing lunch together in New York after the Met Gala, but she hasn’t been seen with him since.

The model Katia Elizarova also fits the bill too! Benedict Cumberbatch kissed her during a friend’s wedding in Ibiza, which means that he definitely has feelings for her.

Whoever he chooses to bring to the Emmy Awards, it’ll be a big surprise!

This year at the Emmy’s, British actors lead the pack in nominations for Outstanding Leading Actor. Chiwetel Ejiofor received nominations for his work in ‘Dancing on the Edge’, Benedict Cumberbatch for ‘Sherlock’, Idris Elba for ‘Luther’ and Martin Freeman, Benedict’s sidekick for ‘Sherlock’ for his performance in ‘Fargo’.
