Radiohead Tour 2014: New Album Ready For 2015; Thom Yorke Ready For Follow Up Of ‘The King Of Limbs’, Jonny Greenwood That Band Is A ‘Slow Moving Animal’

Radiohead Tour 2014 about to happen after the band, headed by Thom Yorke, are moving to the studio to record their ninth studio album, as reported by Billboard.

This will be a follow up of the rock band's 2011 release, "The King Of Limbs", which garnered a high score of four out of five stars by most critics.

The English band composed of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O'Brien, Colin Greenwood and Philip Selway, are reported to start their new album on September after their guitarist told BBC 6 Music's Mary Anne Hobbes Show last Saturday.

Greenwood said: "We're going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it's sounding."

Last April, Greenwood hinted that the band was already making new stuff, which he mentioned to start after summer.

Radiohead didn't reveal any other clues on to when the new album might come out but is expected to hit stores anytime next year.

"We're meeting up at the end of the summer, and we'll make a plan," the guitarist told Nashville Scene a few months back. "But, you know, we're a slow-moving animal, always have been. I guess we'll decide then what we do next."

Front man, Thom Yorke, meanwhile also hinted the new album would take long since the band took a short break, saying that he "needed a break at some point" before continuing with work.

He was asked 2013 by Rolling Stones about the new album and said:

"No, I don't know, really. We said a year, but I'm sure it'll probably be slightly longer than that, 'cause I am actually going to have to have a break. For three days. [Laughs.]

"I really haven't got a clue, which I quite like. We didn't, like, say, 'Fuck you, I'll see you whenever.' But it was quite exciting to actually finally decide to take a proper, proper break. We'd never really done that, not by choice."

A Radiohead Tour is expected to happen next year after recording the upcoming album.
