"NCIS" season 12 spoilers reveal good news for fans as Agent Gibb and his entire team will return for two more seasons. Whether that includes Cote de Pablo's Ziva David, however, is still up in the air.

Breathecast dished out "NCIS" season 12 spoilers when it reported that the contracts for Mark Harmon (Agent Gibbs), Michael Weatherly (Anthony DiNozzo), David McCallum (Dr. Donald Mallard), Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer), Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto), Rocky Carroll (Leon Vance) and Sean Murray (Timothy McGee) were all extended by the network.

According to TVLine, which revealed some "NCIS" season 12 spoilers, the idea of Ziva David's return to the show was raised by executive producer Gary Galsberg who claimed that they are not opposed to the idea on one condition: that her coming back to the show will be organic to the story arc.

"A lot of people have approached me about the idea of not shutting the door entirely on [their staying in touch], and I'm not opposed to it," he said. "It has to be done in a way where it feels organic to the storytelling and we're not just throwing in lines about Ziva here and there."

He said that there's a way to do it such as if Tony is in a personal relationship or find himself in a situation when he has to wonder how Ziza will respond, "then maybe we can figure out a way to do it. It's a valid issue to bring up."

Meanwhile, cast Ellie Wickerham dished out "NCIS" season 12 spoilers to DigitalSpy as she said that at some point, the background of her character Ellie Bishop will have to be given away.

When asked how much she knows about where her character is heading, she said: "You know, I know a little bit, there's a big collaboration over there and I'm excited to see where she goes, where they take her character," she said.

"I hope she will meet her husband, know a little bit about her background," she added.

When prodded about meeting her predecessor, she said that she would like Ziva David and Ellie Bishop together in the same room. "Yeah, of course, I think it would be really fun," she said.
