Gerard Butler went to Brazil to watch some soccer, but it looks like he found a new girlfriend as well! During the final game of Brazil World Cup 2014, he was cozying up with a blonde beauty in the stadium stands. Could it be that the ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ star is now definitely over his on-and-off girlfriend Madalina Ghenea?

The 44-year-old actor reportedly got “close and personal by wrapping his arms around the beauty” during the Argentina vs. Germany game, according to Daily Mail. They even exchanged a kiss! Hopefully his former girlfriend Madalina Ghenea wasn’t also in Rio.

Gerard Butler couldn’t keep his hands off his beauty, who wore a loose low-back dress, even when the game ended. One source said that they are old friends, but the last time I checked, nobody kisses an old friend on the mouth!

The only moment ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ actor stepped away from his new girlfriend is when he took a selfie with the German soccer star, Lukas Podolski:

It sure was quite a night for ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ actor and his potential girlfriend! Or maybe it was just him pulling out his old ladies-man magic. Or it was the victorious World Cup magic still hanging in the air. Either way, the two couldn’t stop talking to each other for the rest of the night.

Wonder what his former girlfriend Madalina Ghenea thinks of this affair. They broke up earlier this year, but with the two always keeping tabs on each other, it’s possible that either Gerard Butler or the 25-year-old model still has feelings for the other.

After his short break in Brazil, Gerard Butler will resume filming for an upcoming fantasy film, ‘Gods Of Egypt’. Looks like the guy can’t get away from getting cast in epic, godly movies.

‘Gods of Egypt’ also stars Brenton Thwaites and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

The film will hit theaters on February 12, 2016.
