Manny Pacquiao news reveals that the Filipino champion's next fight against the undefeated Chris Algieri could guarantee the latter big bucks as rapper Drake debuted his impersonation of "Pacman" while hosting the 2014 ESPYS.

According to Newsday, the boxer from Huntington, New York has gotten a deal to be the opponent for Manny Pacquiao's next fight to the tune of about "$1.5 million."

While the news site's source did not specify just how much the undefeated boxer is getting, the said amount will reportedly include pay-per-view sales.

Joe DeGuardia, the local promoter of Chris Algieri in Huntington, is apparently happy with the deal.

"I'm pleased I was able to generate this fight with him and get the kind of money he's getting," DeGuardia said of the Manny Pacquiao news.

DeGuardia added: "It's a great situation. I feel like my friend and 'family member' has gotten his just reward. It's the fruits of all his work at the Paramount and on Long Island."

With Manny Pacquiao's next fight seemingly in place, critics are putting the burden on Chris Algieri's shoulder to promote the fight that is set to take place in Macau, China this coming November 22.

A report published on Yahoo News said that "despite his win over Ruslan Provodnikov on HBO on June 14, Algieri remains largely unknown to the masses."

The said situation allegedly irked some fans given that "he's not a big puncher" such that people who know of his style "aren't happy for that reason."

In another Manny Pacquiao news, a video showing rapper Drake imitating the Filipino champion has earned the interest of many.

The video was posted via YouTube and Twitter account of ESPYS. In it, Drake sported a beard and hairstyle very much similar to that of the eight division boxing champion. He was singing "Let It Go," a song made popular by the movie "Frozen."

The video clearly pokes fun at "Pacman's" love for singing. Several Twitter users even commented that the rapper has nailed everything-from the looks all the way to the accent.
