Epik High Surprise New York Fans At 'I Love Dance' Event In Times Square

Fans of one K-pop group came out to Times Square in droves on June 11, when Epik High showed up at a flash mob being held in honor of their upcoming concerts.

Epik High, a popular Korean hip hop trio, appeared at that an event held by New York-based dance studio, I Love Dance on June 11. The group's rapper Tablo had heard about the event on Twitter and announced beforehand that Epik High would stop by.

On June 8, I Love Dance announced the flash mob on Twitter.

"I Love Dance is having a flashmob on Wednesday, June 10th @ 5pm in Times Square to support [the] Epik High Tour in NYC!" read the dance studio's official Twitter account. About a hour later, Tablo shared the status, with a promise from Epik High.

"OMG!!! Epik High is gonna visit then! Fans in NY, gather!!!" wrote the rapper.

After the flash mob, Epik High, I Love Dance, and fans who attended shared pictures and videos from the event on social media.


I Love Dance is a dance studio in New York City that offers K-pop dance classes in both Manhattan and Flushing.

Epik High will be holding two shows in New York City this weekend at Best Buy Theater in Times Square. The first show will take place on Friday, June 12 and and after party will be held at Stage 48. The second night's show will be held on June 13, and feature YG Entertaimnet's Masta Wu.

K-hip hop trio Epik High debuted in 2003 under Woollim Entertainment and is currently signed to YG Entertainment. The group is currently touring North America, and will hold the final stop of the Epik High 2015 North American Tour in Toronto on June 14.
